I’m Josh Johnson, an illustrator based in Northern Illinois. I create bold, character driven gig posters, concert artwork, and original illustrations for bands, venues, breweries, and independent brands. I bring hand drawn characters, strong color, and a clear story to artwork made to promote shows, releases, events, and merchandise.
My Approach
Every project starts with the story: the band, venue, event, audience, and feeling the artwork should capture. I develop custom, hand drawn concepts that can carry across a gig poster, online promotion, and merchandise.
